Depending on this housing, depends on whether to use the black washer you get with the SEOV08EA1, this part would need to be fitted flat.

The universal has a recessed section within the housing that the clear washer sit down within, this is far safer to use this seal than the one in the Svelte overflow kit. Recommended by Dave.C
