The Solo unit has a factory reset procedure which will reset the temperature calibration, re-align the inlet/outlet motors and restore the PCB (electronic board) to factory conditions. The process for this reset is as follows:

Factory reset:

- Unplug the digital processor from the power supply, leave it off for 20 minutes and then re-connect the power

- Press and hold the start/temperature control dial (in your shower enclosure) to cycle through a series of lights

- Keep the dial held down until the factory reset option appears (dark blue light), then release the dial immediately

- The LEDS around the dial should flash blue twice to confirm that the processor is resetting.

If this does not restore the unit to working condition, then there are a couple of other diagnostic checks which are performed via the same method.

Self-check mode:

Press and hold the control dial and release it on the orange light. The processor will perform some diagnostic checks to identify whether there is an internal malfunction.

As shown on page 3 of the guide, the control will provide 2 or 3 orange flashes at the end of the self-check function. 2 flashes means that no problem was identified, whilst 3 flashes indicates that a fault was found.

Thermal disinfection:

This function is activated by releasing the control dial on the red light - as described on page 4 of the guide. The processor will run only hot water through the system for 5 minutes, which will clean any limescale blockages out of the processor and destroy any bacteria in the pipework.

To avoid any risk of scalding, please ensure that you stay clear of the showering area until the control dial has stopped flashing red.

Please note that the above troubleshooting steps need to be performed within 1 hour of re-connecting the power supply to the digital processor. After one hour, these functions will be locked out and you will need to unplug the processor for another 20 minutes in order to access them again.
